It happened today Posted Monday, 18 August, 2008 by francey The new David Byrne/Brian Eno album "Everything that Happens Will Happen Today" is now available for purchase from their website.
The album is available in three different formats: download only, download + CD and download + CD in deluxe packaging with bonus tracks and goodies. Both products ship November 30, but you can download the tracks right away.
The site is Flash-only, so it might not work if your browser does't support Flash.
Everything That Happens Will Happen Today Posted Wednesday, 30 July, 2008 by francey David Byrne and Brian Eno are self-releasing their first album in 27 years. "Everything That Happens Will Happen Today" will be available Aug. 18 exclusively through their website EverythingThatHappens.com.
A free download of an as-yet-unnamed track can be found on the site beginning Aug. 4. In addition, "Happens" will be available as an enhanced CD at some point in the future.
You can registed your email address on the website to receive news about the download and album release by mail.
New David Byrne CD "Big Love Hymnal" Posted Friday, 25 July, 2008 by francey David Byrne wrote the music for the second season of the HBO TV series "Big Love", which will be released as soundtrack album on August 19th. The album contains 21, mainly instrumental, tracks and is available for (pre-)order CD right here, and will be available for legal download in MP3 format here from the day of release.

Tom Tom Club reissues - update Posted Wednesday, 28 May, 2008 by francey Reissues of the Tom Tom Club CD's "Boom Boom Chi Boom Boom" and "Dark Sneak Love Action" are scheduled for release on June 24. Both titles are part of a line called "Encore" at WEA/Rhino. The artwork and tracklisting is identical to the original releases (so, no bonus tracks alas).
The reissue of "Boom Boom Chi Boom Boom" is the American version (originally released four months after the European one, with four different tracks) .
Both Tom Tom Club CDs have been officially out of print for 15-20 years. Available for pre-order now: BBCBB and DSLA.
